Subject Comparison

The highest results for the subjects are: Internet, Skype and Gaming (urban subject) and Phone (rural subject). These were all rated either a 4 or a 5. The urban subject had 3 that are rated as the highest whereas the rural subject had only one. (Shown in blue)

The lowest results for the subjects are: Phone (urban subject) and  Gaming and Skype (rural subject). The urban subject's lowest result was rated at a 2 where as the rural subject had two rated at 1. (shown in green)




The patterns in the data about the subjects are: that the highest results for the urban subject are all internet based and most connections are a 2 for the rural subject. Email is the only connection that is the same level for both the urban and rural subject, a 3.

The anomalies in the data are that the highest and lowest for the subjects are opposite. The Urban subject's highest are the Rural subject's lowest.

Rural Subject Analysis

The highest result for the rural subject is phone. This was rated a 4. This is because the rural subject uses this method of communication the most seeing as it is the most accessable to the rural subject. (shown in blue)

The lowest results for the rural subject are gaming skype, which recived a 1. The rural subject doesn't use gaming, and doesn't have skype, and therefore doesn't use them to communicate. (shown in green)



The patterns in the data about the rural subject are that internet, food, music and school are all rated 2, and that gaming and skype are both 1. This is because the rural subject only uses the '2's sparingly and doesn't do/have the '1's.

The anomalies in the data for the rural subject are that phone is the only connection rated 4. This is because phone is the main method od communication for the rural student.

Personal Analysis

The highest results for the urban subject are Internet, Skype and Gaming. These were all rated a 5. This is because the urban subject uses these methods of connectionon a daily basis. (shown in blue)

The lowest results for the urban subject is phone, which recived a 2.  The urban subject doesn't use phone to communicate as much as internet, although phone is used occasionally. (shown in green)


The patterns in the data about the urban subject are that the highest ranked connectors are all internet or internet based (internet, skype and gaming). This is because the urban subject uses the internet on a daily basis.

There aren't any anomalies in the data for the urban subject.
